SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Constellium- a Frances-based global manufacturer of aluminum rolled products, extruded products, and structural parts, announced that it had achieved Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Performance Standard Certification for all its operations, and for its Paris corporate office.
According to a news release, all of the company’s operations are now certified to ASI’s latest Performance Standard Version 3.0, thus setting the highest standards in terms of responsible production, sourcing, and stewardship of the aluminum value chain. The European and North American operations are certified on all the 11 principles of the Standard, whereas the Chinese operations have been certified against the first four principles, it said.

Commenting on the milestone achievement, Jean-Marc Germain, CEO of Constellium said that he is proud that the company has achieved ASI Certification across all of its operations. The accomplishment reflects Constellium’s strong commitment to responsible business practices, he said.
Fiona Solomon, CEO of Aluminium Stewardship Initiative congratulated the company on committing their entire global portfolio to responsible practices via ASI Certification. The company’s achievement across all of its operations places it among leaders within the ASI membership, she added.
