October 23, 2024: Scrap Gold and Silver Prices Increased, Platinum Down on the Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked moved higher from the previous day as of Wednesday, October 23, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. In the meantime, the prices of Platinum scrap declined over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 0.03 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap also were up by $ 0.04 per Oz each. 9-carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 0.02 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a modest decline of $ 3.64 per Oz to reach $ 740.79 per Oz. Silver scrap prices saw an uptick of $0.35 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 0.03 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 0.03 and $ 0.04 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 0.01 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a decline of $ 3.64 per Oz to reach $ 740.79 per Oz. Meanwhile, Silver scrap prices inched higher by $0.31 per Oz from the prior day.
