SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Thyssenkrupp Aerospace and Novelis Inc. have inked a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement. The contract renewal will improve the delivery of cutting-edge aluminum solutions to the aerospace sector and further solidify the two businesses' international collaboration. In 2014, the two businesses inked their first agreement.
The deal states that Novelis would provide Thyssenkrupp Aerospace's major markets in Europe and Asia with specialist, aerospace-grade aluminum. Thyssenkrupp Aerospace will continue to receive premium, aircraft-grade aluminum plates and sheets from Novelis. According to a news release, Novelis will deliver the items from its facilities in Zhenjiang, China, and Koblenz, Germany.
The agreement highlights Novelis' position as a chosen provider of superior products that satisfy the changing demands of the aerospace sector, according to Johan Petry, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Global Aerospace, at Novelis.
By guaranteeing material availability and dependability for customers' supply chains, the agreement strengthens Thyssenkrupp Materials Services' dedication to providing excellence, according to Patrick Marous, CEO of Business Unit Solutions.
It is anticipated that the deal will improve both businesses' standing in the international aircraft industry.
