Novelis Launched Sustainable Packaging Solution for Cosmetics Market

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Novelis, Inc.- the global leader in aluminum rolling and recycling announced its decision to expand its evercycle portfolio of sustainable packaging solution to the cosmetic packaging market.

The evercycle Cosmetics range of products will be certified to contain 100% recycled aluminum content. It offers an opportunity for packaging customers in the beauty, skincare and wellness space to switch to an infinitely recyclable solution, thereby eliminating the use of plastic alternatives.

The company has developed the evercycle Cosmetics alloy in partnership with Anomatic- a world leader in anodized aluminum packaging solutions. The 100% recyclable containers could be placed into curbside recycling bins when empty, thus promoting a circular economy. It must be noted that evercycle Cosmetics is certified by SCS Global Services to contain 100% recycled aluminum. 

Jami Chime, Account Manager, Specialty Products, Novelis North America said that the new packaging solution is not only made from 100% recycled aluminum, but also can also be easily recycled again. The company is committed to increasing the amount of recycled content in its products, he added.
