March 27, 2025: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Dipped, Silver Up on the Index
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 6.38 per Oz.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined as of Thursday, March 27, 2025 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Silver scrap prices increased marginally over the previous day.
In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 6.75 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 8.64 and $ 10.56 per Oz respectively. 9-carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 4.32 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 5.83 per Oz to reach $ 711.62 per Oz. Silver scrap prices increased marginally by $0.24 per Oz when compared with the previous day.
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 6.38 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap were down $ 8.18 and $ 9.99 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 4.09 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by 5.83 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices recorded modest jump by $0.24 per Lb.
