SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): GFG Foundation announced that it has launched a new programme for green industrial skills at its Liberty Steel Rotterham steel plant. The 16-week long programme offers students a rare chance to develop skills for the growing green jobs market.
The participating students will be mentored by five Liberty Steel employees at Rotterham in collaboration with partners Engineering Development Trust. The programme, which will focus on sustainability, will help students navigate the expanding green jobs market. Apart from developing STEM skills, the students will also be trained to build on their communication and presentation skills.
