SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): International Paper (IP), based in Memphis, Tennessee, made significant changes to its executive leadership team.
Tim Nicholls was appointed President and Executive Vice President of DS Smith, an international paper firm. Andy Silvernail, the chairman and CEO, will get his direct reports. Lance Loeffler, who will report to Silvernail, will also join the organization as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Tim has worked in a variety of business and financial leadership positions during his more than thirty years in the sector. He was International Paper's Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2011. He oversaw IP's packaging division in North and South America from 2014 to 2018. He has been the company's chief financial officer since 2018.
During his 25-year career, Loeffler has held positions in business leadership, strategy, and finance at prestigious companies like Halliburton, Deutsche Bank Securities, and UBS Investment Bank.
Tim is an extraordinary leader who is passionate about people and outcomes, according to Silvernail. He hoped Tim will keep assembling a solid group of people who will push for excellence.
