CMC Honored as One of the Best Mid-Size Companies in the U.S

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Irving, Texas-headquartered leading rebars producer Commercial Metals Company (CMC) has been selected as one of America’s Best Mid-Size Companies in 2024. The company has been featured in the inaugural list released jointly by TIME and Statista Inc.

The company was ranked 54 in the list of 500 companies. It made an overall score of 90.73. It was ranked 48 and 205 in employee satisfaction rank and sustainability transparency ranking respectively.

TIME identified America's Best Mid-Size Companies 2024 based on thorough assessment of employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability transparency among companies that operate in the United States. Only those companies which generated revenues in the range of between $100 million and $10 billion in 2022 or 2023 were considered for the prestigious award.

Commenting on the recognition, Peter R. Matt, President and Chief Executive Officer, CMC stated that the company is proud to receive the award from TIME and Statista, Inc. This is in reward of CMC’s investment in its employees. Since its founding in 1915, CMC’s consistent focus has been on being a responsible company, while providing value for all its stakeholders, he added.
