SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Leading steelmaker ArcelorMittal, based in Luxembourg, established a strategic partnership with HP, a well-known printing company, to advance steel additive manufacturing. The partnership seeks to create novel approaches that will influence additive manufacturing in the future.

ArcelorMittal has chosen HP's state-of-the-art Metal Jet S100 technology to expand steel additive manufacturing as part of its dedication to utilizing cutting-edge technologies to improve its manufacturing capabilities. It will bring together ArcelorMittal's strength in sustainable steel solutions with HP's printing knowledge and existing production in additive manufacturing.

In order to provide high-quality, environmentally friendly solutions, the partnership will concentrate on opening up a variety of accessible parts for 3D printing, especially in the automotive industry. Furthermore, it will create steels with unparalleled qualities that are typically unattainable using conventional production methods.

ArcelorMittal Powders' Chief Marketing Officer, Aubin Defer, expressed the company's excitement about working with HP to advance steel additive manufacturing.
