BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices witnessed a marginal increase on ScrapMonster Price Index as of Thursday, April 10, 2025. Copper scrap prices also were up from the previous day. Stainless Steel and Brass/Bronze scrap prices increased when matched with the prior day’s prices. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on the Index.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 3,150 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing price saw a jump of CNY 3,150 per MT.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 3,150 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 1,500 per MT over the previous day’s price. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery witnessed a jump of CNY 400 per MT when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices were up by CNY 200 per MT.
Cu/Al Radiators saw a jump of CNY 400 per MT in prices.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices increased by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.
The price of Heater Cores were up by CNY 1,200 per MT on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices increased by CNY 100 per MT on the Index.
6063 Extrusions recorded a jump of CNY 400 per MT in prices over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots also were up by CNY 400 per MT.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw a jump of CNY 200 per MT each.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices increased by CNY 400 per MT on the Index.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices also edged higher by CNY 400 per MT each on April 10, 2025.
The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF edged higher by CNY 200 per MT each from the previous day.
#1 HMS prices held steady on April 10, 2025.
Cast Iron Scrap also reported no change in prices.
201 SS prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT on the Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices also were up by CNY 50 per MT on the Index.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices increased by CNY 100 per MT when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices were up by CNY 150 per MT as of April 10, 2025.
Shred SS prices witnessed a minor increase of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded increase from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices edged higher by CNY 350 per MT as of Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 500 per MT on Index.
