5th September, 2024: Scrap Gold Prices Increased, Platinum and Silver Dropped on the Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap old prices - both hallmarked and non-hallmarked edged higher marginally as of Thursday, September 5th, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Platinum and Silver scrap fell over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $4.62 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap also increased by $5.93 per Oz and $7.24 per Oz respectively. 9-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $2.97 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a decline of $1.46 per Oz on the Index. Silver scrap prices declined by $0.20 per Lb.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $4.37 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap recorded an increase of $5.61 and $6.85 per Oz respectively.9-carat gold scrap also increased by $2.81 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a decline of $1.46 per Oz. Silver scrap prices edged lower by $0.18 per Lb over the previous day.
