28th November, 2023: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Dropped on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper and aluminum scrap prices declined on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 22^nd, Tuesday. Brass/Bronze scrap prices dropped when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 350 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 350 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 150 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded decline by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices were down by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day. Cu Yokes prices too dipped by CNY 50 per MT.

Cu/Al Radiator prices declined by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices recorded marginal decline by CNY 50 per MT on Tuesday, November 28^th, 2023.

Heater Cores prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices held steady over the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed decline by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too declined by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers dipped by CNY 50 per MT each.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices dipped by CNY 100 per MT on 28^th November, 2023.

The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices registered decline by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 28^th November, 2023.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on November 28^th, 2023.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.        

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT on November 28^th, 2023.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were down by CNY 100 per MT each on Index.
