24th August, 2022: Scrap Gold and Silver Prices Surged, Platinum Dropped on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked moved higher from previous day on Wednesday, 24^th August, 2022 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Meantime, the prices of Platinum scrap declined over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 7.55 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 9.68 per Oz and $ 11.82 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 4.83 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed marginal decline of $ 5.10 per Oz to reach $ 632.88 per Oz. Silver scrap prices saw marginal up tick of $0.08 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 7.13 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 9.15 and $ 11.18 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 4.58 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a decline of $ 5.10 per Oz to reach $ 632.88 per Oz. Meantime, Silver scrap prices inched higher by $0.07 per Oz from the prior day.
