17th November, 2022: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Exhibited Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices registered mixed trend on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 17^th, Thursday. Stainless Steel and  Copper scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Aluminum scrap prices edged higher. Meantime, Brass/Bronze and Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 200 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 100 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded no change over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices were unmoved on Index.

Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery scrap prices were flat.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices too recorded no change.

Heater Cores prices were unchanged on Thursday, November 17^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices witnessed no change from the prior day on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were up by CNY 100 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices were up by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Old Sheet and Old Cast witnessed rise of CNY 100 per MT each on November 17^th, 2022.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90% NF scrap prices recorded marginal increase by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 17^th November, 2022.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 304 SS Solid scrap prices witnessed decline by CNY 150 per MT and CNY 200 per MT respectively on Index.

304 SS Turning prices dropped by CNY 200 per MT over the day.

309 SS and 310 SS prices too were down by CNY 300 per MT and CNY 400 per MT respectively on 17^th November, 2022, when compared with the prior day.

316 SS and Shred SS prices dipped by CNY 300 per MT and CNY 200 per MT respectively on Index.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China were unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were flat on November 17^th, 2022.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too witnessed no change on Index.
