14th July, 2022: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Dipped, Silver Surged on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 14^th July, 2022 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Silver scrap prices increased marginally over the previous day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 3.46 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 4.44 and $ 5.42 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 2.22 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 6.56 per Oz to reach $ 613.19 per Oz. Silver scrap prices increased marginally by $0.07 per Oz when compared with the previous day.   

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 3.28 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 4.19 and $ 5.13 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 2.09 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 6.56 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices recorded marginal jump by $0.07 per Lb.
