14th December, 2021: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Declined on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on December 14^th, Tuesday. Stainless Steel and Brass/Bronze scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Aluminum and Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down sharply by CNY 500 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined heavily by CNY 500 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 250 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of $ 100 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices held steady on Index.

Cu Yokes prices dipped by CNY 50 per MT each when matched with the prior day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too dipped by CNY 50 per MT from the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT.

Heater Cores prices too declined by CNY 150 per MT on Tuesday, December 14^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained flat on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too remained unchanged.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved on Index.

Old Cast prices too were flat on 14^th December, 2021.

The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on Index.

Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 14^th December, 2021.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT on December 14^th, 2021.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.  

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 50 per MT on December 14^th, 2021.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too dropped by CNY 100 per MT each on Index.
