Weyerhaeuser Company Approved Massive Investment in Arkansas Facility
At full operating capacity, it is expected to generate over $100 million of annual Adjusted EBITDA.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The Weyerhaeuser Company revealed intentions to invest over $500 million in the construction of a brand-new, cutting-edge TimberStrand factory close to Monticello and Warren, Arkansas. The new factory will serve a burgeoning and underserved market for TimberStrand in the U.S. South, the business said in a news statement. It also displays the company's inventiveness in wood products. The plant is expected to have a production capacity of about 10 million cubic feet. The facility is anticipated to begin operations in 2027, with construction planned to begin the following year.
