Nevada King Commenced Phase 3 Drill Program at Atlanta Gold Mine Project

The second rig, which arrived yesterday, will be used at the South Quartzite Ridge Target (SQRT).

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Nevada King Gold Corp. announced commencement of its third phase of regional drill program at its Atlanta Gold Mine Project, following receipt of all necessary approvals from the Bureau of Land Management.

According to a company news release, the drill program includes an initial 20,000 metres of drilling across roughly 80 drill targets throughout the Atlanta district. The program will utilize two reverse-circulation drills. The first drill, which arrived on site last week, has completed three holes at the Jumbo and Northeast Target areas. The second rig, which arrived yesterday, will be used at the South Quartzite Ridge Target (SQRT).

The construction of the road to provide access to new drill pad locations along the eastern side and top of the ridge at the SQRT started on November 8, 2024. The majority of road construction is already complete, ahead of schedule. As per initial estimates, the construction was expected to take 8-12 weeks.

Commenting on the development, Cal Herron, Exploration Manager of Nevada King stated that the new high resolution data and a comprehensive understanding of the structural and lithological controls have provided a number of high priority targets for Phase III drilling program. The company looks forward to testing these targets at the earliest, he added.
