September 27, 2024: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum Prices Climbed on the Index
The price of 14-carat gold scrap were up by $1.30 per ounce in the Hallmarked category.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices – both hallmarked and non- hallmarked increased as of Friday, September 27, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap silver and platinum also went higher on the Index.
The price of 14-carat gold scrap were up by $1.30 per ounce in the Hallmarked category. The price of 18-carat gold increased by $1.67 per ounce. The price of 22-carat gold scrap was up by $2.04 per ounce. Moreover, 9-carat gold scrap increased by $0.83 per ounce. Platinum scrap recorded modest price increase of $10.94 per ounce to $732.77 per ounce. The price of scrap silver increased by $0.52 per ounce.
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 1.23 per Oz on the Index. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap went up by $ 1.58 per Oz and $ 1.93 per Oz respectively. 9-carat gold scrap also recorded an increase of $ 0.97 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw an increase of $ 10.94 per Oz. In the meantime, silver scrap prices edged higher by $0.46 over the previous day's price.
