September 23, 2024: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum Prices Climbed on the Index
In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 17.31 per Oz.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices – both hallmarked and non- hallmarked were on the rise as of Monday, September 23, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap silver and platinum also continued to witness jump on the Index.
In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 17.31 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat gold edged higher by $ 22.19 per Lb. The 22-carat gold scrap prices recorded an increase of $ 27.10 per Oz. 9-carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 11.09 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased marginally by $ 0.73 per Oz to reach $ 720.34 per Oz. Silver scrap prices witnessed an increase of $ 0.13 per Oz.
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 16.37 per Oz on the Index. The prices of 18-carat and 22 carat gold scrap went up by $ 20.99 per Oz and $ 25.63 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also recorded an increase of $ 10.49 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw an increase of $ 0.73 per Oz. In the meantime, silver scrap prices edged higher by $0.11 over the previous day.
