3rd September, 2024: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum Prices Dropped on the Index

In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices dipped by $ 8.37 per Oz.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): As of Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, the ScrapMonster Price Index showed a significant decrease in the daily scrap gold values, both hallmarked and non-hallmarked. The prices of scrap Silver and Platinum too dropped from the previous day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices dipped by $ 8.37 per Oz. The price of 18-carat gold edged lower by $ 10.73 per Lb. The 22-carat gold scrap prices recorded a decline of $ 13.11 per Oz. 9-carat gold scrap also edged lower by $ 5.37 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a fall of $ 8.75 per Oz to reach $ 676.62 per Oz. Silver scrap prices went lower by $ 0.70 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went lower by $ 7.91 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap also went down by $ 10.15 and $ 12.40 per Oz respectively.9-carat gold scrap also declined by $ 5.07 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw a decline of $ 8.75 per Oz. Meanwhile, silver scrap prices edged lower by $ 0.62 per Oz on the Index.
