SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Memphis, Tennessee-headquartered International Paper (IP) has been named as one of the 2024 World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere- a global leader in promoting ethical business practices.
The company is one among the 136 honorees of the year spanning 20 countries and 44 industries. This is the 18th consecutive year that the company has received the prestigious recognition. Also, it is one of the only two honorees in the Forestry, Paper and Packaging industry.

Commenting on the achievement, Mark Sutton, Chairman and CEO, IP noted that it demonstrates the high ethical standards and shared principles of honesty, integrity and respect maintained by the team. The company is honoured to be recognized for straight eighteen years, he added.
The winners are judged based upon the performance against Ethisphere’s Ethics Quotient framework, which focuses on several key categories including ethics and compliance program, culture of ethics, corporate citizenship and responsibility, governance and leadership and reputation. The selection is based on responses to nearly 200 questions based on the above themes.
