8th January, 2024: Scrap Gold and Silver Prices Surged, Platinum Dropped on Index

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 9.53 per Oz.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked moved higher from previous day on Monday, 8^th January, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Meantime, the prices of Platinum scrap declined over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 9.53 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 12.22 per Oz and $ 14.92 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 6.11 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed modest decline of $ 8.02 per Oz to reach $ 697.04 per Oz. Silver scrap prices saw marginal up tick of $0.01 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 9.02 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 11.56 and $ 14.12 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 5.78 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a decline of $ 8.02 per Oz to reach $ 697.04 per Oz. Meantime, Silver scrap prices inched higher by $0.02 per Oz from the prior day.
