1st December, 2023: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Exhibited Mixed Trend on Index
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices too declined by CNY 100 per MT each.
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices remained flat on ScrapMonster Price Index as on December 1st, Friday. Copper Scrap prices were up from the previous day. Stainless Steel prices declined, whereas Brass/Bronze and Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 200 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 200 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also surged higher by CNY 200 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices edged higher by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery were flat when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices witnessed no change on Index.
Cu/Al Radiators prices recorded no variation over the previous day.
Heater Cores prices soared by CNY 50 per MT on Index.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were flat on Friday, December 1st, 2023.
Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices were unchanged from the prior day.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions witnessed no change over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices too were flat on Index.
Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed no variation on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices held steady.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices were unchanged on December 1st, 2023.
Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90%NF prices recorded no change over the prior day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on 1st December, 2023.
Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices were down by CNY 50 per MT on Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices too declined by CNY 100 per MT each.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices dipped by CNY 150 per MT each when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices dipped by CNY 200 per MT on December 1st, 2023.
Shred SS prices were down by CNY 100 per MT over the day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded no change from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices were unchanged on December 1st, 2023.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices were flat on Index.
