17th November, 2023: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Witnessed Mixed Trend on Index
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices too declined by CNY 150 per MT each.
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices edged lower on ScrapMonster Price Index as on November 17th, Friday. Copper Scrap prices were up from the previous day. Stainless Steel prices declined, whereas Brass/Bronze and Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 50 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 50 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also surged higher by CNY 50 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices held steady over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too were flat when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices witnessed no change on Index.
Cu/Al Radiators and Heater Cores prices recorded no variation over the previous day.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were flat on Friday, November 17th, 2023.
Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices were unchanged from the prior day.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions witnessed a dip of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices too were down by CNY 100 per MT.
Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed decline by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched lower by CNY 100 per MT.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices were down by CNY 100 per MT each on November 17th, 2023.
Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90%NF prices declined by CNY 50 per MT each.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on 17th November, 2023.
Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices too declined by CNY 150 per MT each.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices dipped by CNY 200 per MT each when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices dipped by CNY 250 per MT on November 17th, 2023.
Shred SS prices were down by CNY 150 per MT over the day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded no change from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices were unchanged on November 17th, 2023.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices were flat on Index.
