SEATTLE (Scrap Monster):  Georgia-Pacific (GP) announced that it has completed capital improvement project at Diboll lumber mill in Eastern Texas. The $7 million upgrade is expected to modernize the mill and boost its overall production capabilities. The upgrades also ensure long term longevity of the prestigious lumber mill with a history of more than 100 years.

Danny Wright, Plant Manager, Diboll Lumber stated that the investment comes on the heels of the construction of a new multi-million-dollar crane. It clearly demonstrates GP’s ongoing commitment to grow and thrive in the community, Wright added.
