Smurfit Kappa Launched New Packaging System for TopClip Product
Smurfit Kappa has now launched complete solutions for every shape and size of beverage company.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): European packaging major Smurfit Kappa announced the launch of a new packaging system for its TopClip product. The packaging system is being designed for smaller businesses and brands. This completes the company’s portfolio of end-to-end solutions for TopClip.
Smurfit Kappa has now launched complete solutions for every shape and size of beverage company. The new implementation proves the company’s commitment to supplying TopClip, not only to the large global brands, but also to smaller craft breweries.

Commenting on the launch, Arco Berkenbosch, VP Innovation and Development, at Smurfit Kappa Europe said that the company is delighted to partner with breweries by providing their consumers with the latest in innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. Meantime, JiÅ™í Andrš, CEO at Pivovar Clock noted that Smurfit Kappa’s TopClip solution offers a new sustainable alternative while providing an excellent consumer and branding experience.
Smurfit Kappa’s TopClip is intended as a replacement for the stretch film that is used to bundle the cans in one single pack. The TopClip offers 100% protection from contamination as it fully covers the top of the cans. Furthermore, it is 100% plastic-free.
