For more than 50 years the Winzinger name has been associated with quality and professionalism in heavy construction. From county roads to major east coast highways to revitalized urban areas in the nation's busiest cities, Winzinger has left it's mark.
Winzinger Incorporated was founded in 1960 by Robert and JoAnn Winzinger, both of whom continue to play major roles in day-to-day operations. Today Winzinger is one of the most highly respected full-service contractors in the business, with an excellent reputation for superior work and efficient project management.Their broad range of capabilities includes not only road construction, excavation, land development and demolition, but utility and marine construction, and recycling technologies. This versatility and experience places Winzinger among the most progressive and flexible organizations in the contracting business.
Our experienced and dedicated staff share the Winzinger's high standards and commitment to environmentally sound development. Of course, customer service is a top priority, and we take great pride in an outstanding record of jobs delivered on time and within budget.Whether your project is in the public or the private sector, the job will run more smoothly when you make Winzinger Incorporated a part of your team.
Our recycling program is perhaps the most visible manifestation of our commitment to the long- term health of the environment.
Years ago it became obvious that the availability of landfill space was dwindling rapidly. We saw a need to recycle materials, rather than disposing of them, and reuse them for new building and road construction, agricultural and landscaping projects. Winzinger pioneered this technology, and we remain on the leading edge as we explore new recycling techniques and new applications for recycled materials. When we entered the recycling field in the mid-1980s, very little equipment was available for the monumental tasks at hand. To overcome this, we developed our own recycling plants. Today we process demolition debris, wood, concrete, asphalt, masonry, bricks and tree stumps. We convert them into environmentally safe products for road base and sub-base, burner fuel, mulch, topsoil and other landscaping materials.
Our ability to recycle so many varied materials into marketable products enables us to reduce dumping and disposal costs, and we have eliminated tipping fees for many materials.
We offer roll-off containers for hauling recyclables at a very competitive price, and we work closely to assist municipalities that participate in state-funded recycling grant programs.
Recycling makes sense. It not only saves landfill space, but promotes conservation of existing natural resources. Winzinger's recycling systems produce recycled products that are economical, as well as environmentally sensible. These high-volume systems virtually assure product availability in any quantity.
Our organic soil amendment can be used as a potting medium, compost base, soil additive and as a fine mulch cover wherever moisture needs to be maintained. In addition to a superior topsoil, we offer two grades of mulch, both of which are pasteurized to eliminate weeds and insects. Our crushed brick and concrete products are in demand by landscapers and homeowners, as well as by construction industry professionals.
Our inorganic line includes several road-building aggregates, such as I-5, which meets the tough specifications of the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Army Corps of Engineers and also can be used for driveways and patio bases.
