Certificate of Recognition
Wilkinson Steel and Metals Inc joined the Partners in Industry Reduction Program through the Manufacturers’ Health and Safety Association. After becoming a member, Wilkinson Steel and Metals Inc obtained a Certificate of Recognition in Health and Safety in 2002. This includes our Edmonton, Calgary and Fort McMurrey branches. This commitment has assisted us growing our Health and Safety Management System along with our own employee commitment to a Safe and Healthy Workplace. Wilkinson Steel and Metals Inc maintains a company wide Health and Safety program based on the COR program including regular Safety Audits and inspections in all of our facilities. We are actively pursuing the development of similar certification programs with the Workers Compensation Boards of British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

HAS Committees
Each Branch of Wilkinson Steel and Metals Inc has a Health and Safety Committee that meets on a monthly basis. Each committee is made up of a cross section of plant employees, office staff and management. Our Thermal Cutting Services include Laser, Plasma (including bevels), and Oxyâ€fuel.From simple shapes to your intricately engineered designs, we can provide your products ready for assembly. Our CNC driven services produce tight-tolerance, clean finished goods that are ready for production.
Wilkinson Steel and Metals Inc. offers leveling of coil to sheet and plate in material gauges from .014 to 1/2 inch and widths up to 96 inches. Our Herr-Voss, B & K and Alcos leveling lines produce a precision flat product. Our ability to cut coil custom sizes of sheet and plate gives our customers the flexibility to meet their unique size requirements, while minimizing waste.
Wilkinson Steel and Metals Inc. “State of the Art” high performance slitting line is capable of processing most products in a gauge range from .012 – .187 X 60 inch wide, with a maximum coil weight of 50,000#. The improvements in technology and production capabilities incorporated in our new Braner Slitter ensures Wilkinson will provide.
