Wilderness Garbage and Recycling
We are a full service garbage and recycling company.
As a residential customer we have several service options available to you.
At Wilderness Garbage & Recycling, we provide trash containers for commercial businesses.
Wilderness Garbage & Recycling Service offers 20-yard and 30-yard open-top drop boxes. These boxes are used for contraction, demolition, brush, and clean-up. Pick-ups are on an on-call basis, with at least 24 hour notification.
Wilderness Garbage is about customer service and your satisfaction. Your safety, and our drivers safety is the number one priority at Wilderness Garbage.
Residential Services
Weekly or on-call garbage collection:
As a residential customer we have several service options available to you.
Weekly Service Options:
We have 32, 64, or 95 gallon rollcarts available. Call the office for more information. Please have rollcarts out by 5:30am.
On Call Service:
On call collection is designed for customers who need infrequent garbage collection. Compared to our weekly service options, on call rates are more expensive when multiple collections are needed with a single month. Please have rollcarts out by 5:30am.
Special Needs Service:
Medical sharps containers - If you give your pets shots or a member of the household is diabetic and given shots the needles must be disposed of in special containers. The needles cannot be disposed of with regular trash.
Temporary Containers :
One and a half yard and 2 yard containers for household clean-up. For guideline information see the "forms" page.
When using the Wilderness Garbage Recycle Center, please take notice of our guidlelines. In order for our company to continue to provide this no cost service w eneed your cooperation in keeping the facility in operation by recycling properly.
Recycle Center Depot Hours:
Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Fridays 8 AM to 1 PM.
NEWSPAPER: Anything that comes in the newspaper can be recycled with the newspaper. Please remove any string or banding.
MAGAZINES, CATALOGS, PHONEBOOKS:
As is.
PLASTIC BOTTLES: (neck smaller than base)
Rinse clean. Discard lid and ring. No need to flatten. Note: If the plastic is not a bottle shape, it is not recyclable.
TIN/ALUMINUM: Cans, jar lids, foil, TV dinner trays, beverage cans. Rinse clean. Remove labels. No need to flatten.
PAPER BAGS:
As is.
MIXED PAPER:
Paper, envelopes, white & colored paper, computer paper, tin can labels, wrapping paper (no foil or ribbon), shredded paper (strips ONLY, NO CONFETTI). No paper ream wrappers, tissue paper, waxed paper, candy wrappers, snack food bags.
PAPERBOARD: Cereal/cracker/shoe boxes (discard liners), soda and beer cartons, paper egg cartons, (no plastic or Styrofoam) paper towel tubes. No frozen food boxes, paper cups/plates/towels/napkins, pet food bags
CORRUGATED CARDBOARD:
Flatten, recycle in containers in designated area. No waxed cardboard.
