For over 40 years, Valley City Electronic Recycling has provided advanced recycling solutions to our Midwest clients. Our state-of-the-art technologies ensure secure data elimination for electronics, medical and industrial equipment, as proven by our regulatory compliance record and Responsible Recycling Practices (R2) Certification.
Valley City Electronic Recycling is dedicated to safe, secure and sustainable domestic recycling of electronics, medical and industrial equipment. We use both manual and automated processing to disassemble equipment in order to achieve a cleaner separation of materials and additional resource recovery value.
Adhering to our zero landfill policy, we use best practice disassembly rather than nonselective shredding to recoup maximum commodity value and a cleaner separation of the various products we recover from the waste accepted into our facility. Valley City is the only Michigan electronics recycler that processes CRT glass, and with equipment designed by us.
Valley City Electronic Recycling works closely with each customer to understand your needs and ensure compliance with the requirements of your industry. Our customers include health care and insurance providers requiring HIPPA compliance, Tier 1 OEM suppliers, manufacturers requiring ISO documentation, banking and financial institutions with Gramm-Leach-Bliley rules, among others. When secure data removal is necessary, we provide onsite physical destruction, and as desired, live or videotaped customer-witnessed destruction.
VISION
To become the premier electronic recycler of industrial waste in Michigan.
VALUES:
Adhering to our zero landfill policy, we use best practice disassembly rather than nonselective shredding to recoup maximum commodity value and a cleaner separation of the various products we recover from the waste accepted into our facility. Electronics contain toxic heavy metals, such as lead found in the solder used on circuit boards, as well as mercury, cadmium and chromium, and flame retardant chemicals present in plastic housings.
Our practice allows both Valley City and our valued customers a lower carbon footprint. Valley City is the only Michigan electronics recycler that processes CRT glass, and with equipment designed by us. Glass containers make up a significant portion of landfill waste because of their weight and density. We are the only Michigan electronics recycler that processes CRT glass, and with equipment designed by us. Glass recycling uses less energy than the creation of new glass, while releasing less carbon dioxide to the environment.
