The Utah Recycling Alliance (URA) is a nonprofit corporation organized to develop and promote relationships, resources and recycling programs throughout the State of Utah. The URA creates unified messages that encourage and empower the public to become involved in current waste management and resource conservation programs.
Utah Recycling Alliance strives to participate in community events all over the State of Utah in an effort to educate the public on available recycling resources.URA hosts summits, education workshops and monthly board meetings.URA has developed this website as a resource for everyone in the State of Utah. Residents can post updates about community recycling events, find their local recycling contacts and learn more about the importance of recycling.
General Organization/Membership - Lay the foundation for a long lasting and function non-profit and encourage involvement in URA's future
Education and Outreach goal - Work throughout the state to reach people, provide current and accurate information, expand existing programs and develop new one.
Website goal - Continue to develop a website that becomes the source of accurate and up to date information for connecting people around the state
Special Projects goal - Get involved in activities around the state and issues outside the state that may impact Utah. Promote recycling/resource conservation and be the leading organization for progressive change to waste issues.
Conference/Summit goal - Create networking opportunities to share information and resources, schedule at regular intervals and make it convenient for people to participate.
