In a short time we saw the need to expand to better serve our growing number of customers. By 2008, the company acquired a 16 acre property in Morrow, Georgia and construction began. The new facility opened in 2010 with state of the art technology. Our hardworking, dedicated team has helped our company prosper so much so that United Recycling was nominated as Company of the Year 2011 by the Chamber of Commerce of Clayton County. In January 2012, United Recycling opened the doors to its second location in Cumming, Georgia. We take great pride in our growing business. We look forward to building ongoing relationships and further expanding our customer base to better serve you and continue helping our environment.

United Recycling has two locations open to the public in Cumming and Morrow, Georgia. We welcome you to come by with all of your metal and cardboard materials; we’ll see that they’re properly repurposed and that your efforts in collecting and bringing recyclable materials to us, contribute to more efficient use of our planet’s finite resources. With the deposit of many metal materials, you’ll receive a check in an amount that reflects the weight and value of the metal you brought in, according to market rates.
Bring Your Metal Items to Us!
At United Recycling , we accept and pay for many ferrous metal items including appliances, bicycles, cars, cast iron, fencing, grills, industrial metal heavy equipment, lawnmowers, motor blocks, rebar, and scrap metal.Non-ferrous metal items we welcome include AC compressors, alternators, aluminum (e.g. gutters, window frames), cans, aluminum wheels, auto batteries, brass, catalytic convertors, Christmas lights, copper, electric motors, electrical wire, radiators, stainless steel, starters, and more.
At United Recycling , we invite you to contribute to the global effort to create a sustainable relationship between humans and our shared planet. Since the earth’s resources are finite, it only makes sense to reuse materials whenever possible. Metals and cardboard require intensive production processes so why not play a part in facilitating their return to manufacturers, and contribute to the efficient lifecycle of the materials we all use. There are several valid reasons to recycle. Besides the monetary reimbursement incentive available to those who recycle metals, there are many benefits we can share communally when we do our part to recycle reusable materials.
Unclutter your home or business by bringing all your recyclable materials to United Recycling. For those looking to recycle excess metal, we pay competitive market rates to take it off your hands. We also recycle cardboard for FREE! While we don’t pay for cardboard, we help you enjoy the convenience of avoiding landfill fees. Doesn’t it feel good to Recycle?
Non-Ferrous Metals
Metals which do not contain iron are known as non-ferrous metals. Examples of such metals are copper and aluminum. These metals play a vital role in the components of many modern products; computer wiring and soda cans are relatively affordable metal products largely due to the role that secondary metals play in the metals industry. Recycling allows for efficient use of these metals instead of the more expensive, less efficient alternative of mining.
Ferrous Metals
A ferrous metal is any metal that contains iron. Common examples of ferrous metals include cast iron, and wrought iron. These metals are often found in pipes, automobiles, household tools, and kitchen equipment.
Autos and Auto Parts
We accept whole cars to recycle. From mufflers and catalytic converters to engines, transmissions, and fenders, United Recycling will pay competitive rates for your old auto parts. So whether you’re having your old car scrapped or you have some spare parts lying around your garage from past do-it-yourself projects, United Recycling wants your old auto parts so bring them in today!
Cardboard
We are happy to recycle all your Cardboard! Recycling cardboard is important due to the energy it takes to produce and the fact that it’s made with wood pulp, which requires deforestation and tree clearing. Recycling means not wasting that precious energy and saving our forests. We’ll take it all off your hands and you’ll feel good knowing you’ve protected the environment. Plus, avoid paying a landfill fee for disposal! At United Recycling you are not only disposing but also recycling.
