U-Pull-It 's vehicle salvage process recycles almost every part of the car. Our recycled auto parts offer our customers a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to purchasing from traditional auto parts sources. All environmentally unfriendly compounds such as gasoline, oil, antifreeze, mercury and lead are recycled and/or disposed of properly. The remaining metal content is then crushed and recycled.Looking to scrap your vehicle? At U-Pull-It, we pay top dollar for your old car or truck. - All vehicles that arrive at our location are processed in an environmentally friendly manner.
- All vehicles are drained of all fluids, batteries, tires, lead weights, terminals and mercury switches are removed prior to the vehicles entering the self serve yard.
- The U Pull It process provides a low cost alternative to new parts for our customers and in return helps reduce landfill waste, cut down on the carbon footprint and decrease contaminants entering the ground water.
HOW IT WORKS at U-PULL-IT
- For safety reasons we DO NOT allow torches, grinders, chop saws or any other tools that create sparks or flames. We reserve the right to check your tool box for these items each time you enter our yard.
- We do allow you to bring jacks, jack stands, portable air compressors, generators, sawzalls, booster packs and any other tools that you will need.
- No one under the age of 16 is allowed to enter the yard.
- U-PULL-IT staff members can provide you with a U-PULL-IT yard map, directions to where you can find the type of vehicle you are looking for, part pricing, yard rules, exchange warranty information and return policy guidelines.
- Please DO NOT ask us about part confirmation. We DO NOT keep track of the parts that are on the vehicles. For part confirmation, you need to go into the U-PULL-IT yard.
- All of our vehicles have been properly drained of all fluids and have all mercury switches, tires, catalytic converters and batteries removed. All other parts are left on the vehicle and placed in its respective section.
- All tires have been removed from the vehicles and are stored on racks for your convenience.
- All batteries have been removed from the vehicles and are charged and tested for your convenience.
- Recycled windshield washer fluid and antifreeze are located in the yard for customers to come and fill their own jugs.
- The U-PULL-IT yard also has washrooms that are available for our customers to use.
- Please do not enter any fenced or segregated area as these areas are off limits
- Please keep your workspace clean and remove all parts in a proper workman-like manner. Remember what you break today, you may need tomorrow!
- Please take care of any tools you bring into the yard. We are not responsible for any lost or broken tools.
- Please report any vandalism, unsafe circumstances or dangerous behaviour from other customers to the main office immediately.
- Please keep in mind, any parts that you remove from the vehicle(s) that you are not purchasing must be put back in the vehicle(s).
- The part pricing is pre-set and the same regardless of the vehicles age, make, model or condition. We DO NOT negotiate on part prices.
- If a part is returned without the original receipt and/or the corresponding markings on the part, the 30 day exchange warranty will not apply.
- Any part brought back after the 30th day will not be eligible for the exchange warranty or in-store credit.
- The 30 day exchange warranty applies to all parts pulled from the yard, with the exception of Tires. All Tires are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- All core charges, if not brought on the day of purchase, must be returned within 30 days with the original receipt in order to be refunded.
