We are clean and green. Everything that comes into our campus as waste stream or commercial construction and demolition debris leaves to become a new product.
We turn tree debris and waste wood into biofuel for local industry, so bring us your industrial pallets or call for collection in the Mobile-Baldwin county area.
Our construction and demolition area also accepts concrete, which in turn becomes new road material. And we like rebar, steel and other metals. We collect cardboard, which takes up about a tenth of all landfill space and a third of your trash and garbage, for recycling back into cardboard.
Think outside the box with Twin Oak’s green and yellow cardboard baskets. Call us today for delivery of one of our cardboard bins with the smiley face for your mall, business, church, university or neighborhood schools. We also offer balers and compactors up to 50 yards for industry and commercial enterprises.
Twin Oaks is participating in the first U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED project in a Mobile office complex and is a certified LEED hauler. We are fully licensed and permitted by state and county environmental agencies for recycling .
In a lifetime, the average American will throw away 600 times his or her adult weight in garbage. This means that each adult will leave a legacy of as much as 100,000 pounds of trash for his or her children. Americans throw away enough office and writing paper each year to build a wall twelve-feet high stretching from New York City to Los Angeles. Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to run a television, or operate a computer for three hours.
