Historically, TOTALL Metal has provided a variety of recycling services for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Fortune 1000 companies, as well as producers and consumers of copper, brass, precious metals, zinc, aluminum, tin and lead.
Today, we offer dismantling, secure destruction, recycling and asset management services to OEMs, Generators, Government Organizations and Retailers in the electronics and telecommunications industries. We use our expertise to place metals into the proper consumer markets and assisting our customers in converting scrap into new finished products. Our broad range of clients supply us with all types of copper, brass, aluminum, stainless, nickel, tin/lead materials, hi-temp alloys and ferrous scrap. These include solids, residues, oxides, stampings, slags, skimmings and ingots. In turn, we process these items and convert them into finished products at our partner smelters’ and refiners’ facilities. Complex materials such as residues, skimmings, slags, grindings and oxides must be handled with great care and concern for the environment. Because of this, we continue to make investments in our facility, constantly upgrading our environmental status. What We Buy
Non-Ferrous Metals:
- We accept various grades and compositions of Copper, Brass, Aluminum, Nickel, Tin, Lead, Titanium, Precious Metals and Specialty Alloys.
- Materials are processed and prepared at our facility and ultimately shipped to smelters and end-consumers around the world.
Electronics:
- We accept items such as Computers, Hard Drives, Circuit Boards, Cell Phones, Mainframes, Servers, Keyboards, Printers, Fax Machines, Copiers, and other electronic devices to be recycled on site.
- Recycling electronics reduces costly waste and landfill usage. After the initial dismantling and shredding, we separate the shredded electronics into streams of glass and metals. These components are then recycled to the terminal market and used as raw material for new products.
Ferrous Metals:
- We accept various grades of Steel and Iron.
- Automobiles must be prepared as follows:
Must have a title that matches VIN number
Battery removed
All fluids drained
Air conditioner must be properly evacuated (CFC/HFC)
Gas tanks must be removed from vehicles
Maximum four tires mounted per vehicle
Truck tires by permission only
Mercury switches removed: hood, trunk and ABS
No unshreddables inside vehicles
No wood, trash, dirt, rock, etc. inside automobile
Cannot be driven or pushed into our facilit

Purchasing / Account Management:
- As the backbone of our operations, a powerful Materials Tracking and Management System has been designed by TMR specifically for the recycling industry. Based on more than 100 years of experience, this real-time tracking system provides detailed accounting and reporting data, including dismantling and shredding/separation breakdowns by item, weight, piece count, etc. In addition, our client management module compiles pricing data, receipt and shipment details, along with complete financial summaries. Reports can be customized to meet our clients’ every expectation and operational requirement.
- Among our advantages, we offer documentation of received weights, dates, material, results, prompt settlement, and certificates of recycling, destruction or demilitarization.
Processing:
- Our services include Dismantling, Assured Destruction, Shredding and Mechanical Separation, as well as Asset Management and Consignment programs. Combined with our contract management system, we provide reliable recycling solutions, as well as detailed receiving, materials disposition, separation allocation and financial breakdowns to our clients.
Freight Management:
- Midwest Transportation, LLC, a partner company of ours is a diversified logistics company equipped to handle all your freight needs. As an asset based company, Midwest Transportation has the capability to spot vans, flatbeds, roll-off containers or gondolas at your facility for accumulation and segregation of scrap material for purchase by Totall Metal. Midwest Transportation also has a fleet of local and over-the-road trucks, professional drivers along with corporate contracts with 3rd party carriers to manage any pickup or delivery situation.
