Thomson Waste Transfer Station is a Hamilton based subsidiary that was launched in 2001. The Waste Transfer Station handles industrial, commercial and residential dry waste materials and is also home to the rail siding facility.
Thomson Waste Transfer Station is a facility where waste is unloaded from collection vehicles and briefly held while it is reloaded onto larger long-distance transport vehicles or rail cars for shipment. By combining the loads of several individual waste collection trucks into a single shipment, clients save money on the labour and operating costs of transporting waste to a distant disposal site.
