Precious Metal Analysis

photoOur state-of-the art analytical lab is equipped with the latest technologies including x-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF). Cutting edge technology permits the detection of even the trace amounts of precious metals, as are typically found in low grade material such as sweeps or grindings.

An x-ray assay takes only minutes. Your precious metal lot is melted into a bar and a sample is taken and placed into the machine to determine purity. Essentially, the precious metal sample is bathed in x-rays. The metal then emits light (fluorescence) at an energy level specific to its atomic structure. This energy level is measured by our machine and the purity of the metal is determined.

No Assaying Fees

Our onsite x-ray assay is provided to clients free of charge. The test is generally accurate to five parts per thousand, which is quite high. It is our mission to reclaim and pay you for the greatest possible amount of precious metal from your melts.

Our lab is optimized to process a large number of lots quickly and accurately. The results are immediately computerized for final valuation and payment.
