Pete Mantas had been rebuilding and selling trucks and truck parts since 1974. What began with working nights in his garage after work rebuilding trucks, later developed into a thriving business in the full-service automotive recycling industry.
As the years passed Pete and his sons recognized the need and demand for inexpensive auto parts for the do it yourself types, known as self-service auto parts. This led them to expand into self-service opening Tear-A-Part in 1987.
Tear-A-Part is dedicated to environmental protection and fair business standards. We have developed an award-winning system for the extraction and separation of hazardous fluids in automobiles. Our system is the culmination of thirty years of auto recycling experience.
