Total Destruction of Equipment

TBS Industries provides a total equipment destruction service, so your company is confident that the equipment, such as proprietary chips, circuit boards and proprietary electronic equipment will not be available to the general public. TBS utilizes shredders, choppers, furnaces, etc to process and destroy proprietary and security sensitive data management products. We process circuit boards and chips containing sensitive proprietary information. The technique used first is shredding and then refining /smelting totally destroying the integrity of the original product.

Certificate of Destruction

Written certification, documentation and pictures are available at customers’ request. We have technicians trained in the sanitization of all hard drives so that all sensitive data is removed. The customer is welcome to witness the destruction process.TBS Industries provides a Certificate of Destruction, and an affidavit of destruction letter. The certification states that all items and equipment received for destruction were destroyed in compliance with Federal, State, County and Local regulations.

Data Security

• This service will eliminate all traces of data sensitive information stored on the hard drive prior to the customer's decision for disposition. TBS's method of Identity Theft Protection utilizes the same process and standards as set forth by the U.S. Department of Defense.
• Onsite and offsite destruction of all types of confidential paper, electronic and magnetic media.
•  TBS will, at the client’s request, completely remove all asset tags displaying corporate identity, thereby reducing customer liability.
• TBS will, at the client’s request, provide customers with a certificate of destruction to document the process of disposal. This certificate will limit clients from legal and environmental exposure, and ensure both environmental and privacy law compliance.
• TBS will inventory by serial number all items scheduled for destruction.
