Stuivermetaal BV is a real family business. We would like to take you back in time. It all started in Nijmegen in 1922. The grandfather of the current generation then took the first steps for the company as it is today. Kobus Stuiver founded the company in 1922. He started collecting metal door to door. He also had a horse and rag trade. After some time, the collection of metals took over and Kobus stopped with the other trade and continued alone with the metal trade. During this time, son Toon Stuiver also started working for his father. After years, the company settled on the Dr. the Blecourtstraat, where the company is still located today. Here the company started to show visible growth. After years, Toon Stuiver became the owner of Stuiver en son. Toon Stuiver enjoyed his work and passed on this passion to his son Cobus Stuiver. Cobus Stuiver has been working in the company since 1980 and became the owner in 1987 together with his father. In 1996, Cobus took over completely and changed the name to Stuivermetaal BV. He currently carries out his work with the same drive and passion as his predecessors. Together with a number of employees, they work hard to keep the company successful and to continue it.
