Stranco Solid Waste Mgmt. Co. LLC is a locally owned, licensed and permitted transfer station in St Tammany Parish and also manages another transfer station in New Iberia, La.  Stranco Solid Waste is committed to offering its residential, commercial and industrial customers an economical and convenient solution to disposal of their non-hazardous trash and debris. Whether you use one of our disposal services, such as our dumpster service or our roll-off service, or if you bring in your refuse yourself, Stranco Solid Waste Management Co., LLC is always equipped and prepared to meet your non-hazardous waste disposal needs.

Open to the Public

We accept household garbage, construction debris, yard debris, furniture, swing sets, and appliances such as washers and dryers. We also accept refrigerators, freezers and A/C units, however, the Freon must be removed. We take tires (5 per resident) and used oil at Site 1. Transportation

At Stranco, we take pride in our proven track record of providing safe and efficient transportation services while maintaining the highest quality of standards in the transportation industry. Our drivers are professional and well-trained in the safe handling of hazardous materials and waste. Moreover, Stranco is permitted and licensed in 22 states and in 2 Canadian provinces.Stranco is a member of ISNetworld – Global Vendor Management (www.isnetworld.com) and PICS – Pacific Industrial Contract Screening (www.picsauditing.com). Stranco, Inc has an extensive fleet of late-model trucks and trailers including but not limited to 316 stainless steel 307-407 DOT spec insulated 6500-7500 gal capacity tankers and end dumps equipped with liners, roll tarps, and locking tail gates, each specifically designed to haul hazardous materials and waste in conformance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, Stranco provides roll-off boxes including delivery, servicing and pick-up.

Construction

Stranco has completed hundreds of projects in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. Completed projects range up to millions of dollars involving work from the simple to extremely complex multi-task jobs. Stranco owns a wide variety of specialized and heavy equipment to complete environmental remediation, demolition, and civil construction projects including excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, motor graders, tractor/trailer, end dumps and tankers, roll off boxes and rail trailers, compaction equipment and much more. Each project is evaluated during the bid process to determine the most cost-effective approach to meeting equipment requirements.

For over two decades, Stranco Solid Waste Management Co., LLC has been a permitted, licensed and DEQ compliant solid waste transfer station. Stranco Solid Waste has been successfully helping St Tammany Parish residents and businesses dispose of solid waste including household garbage, construction and demolition debris, and other non-hazardous trash. In addition to owning and managing its one-of-a-kind transfer station in Abita Springs, La, Stranco Solid Waste Management Co., LLC operates a solid waste transfer station in Laplace, La and has extended its business venture to include operating and managing a solid waste transfer station facility in New Iberia, La. All of its facilities are equipped and prepared to handle large influxes of incoming and outgoing garbage and other non-hazardous trash. The refuse that is brought into our transfer stations is transported from our facilities to the appropriated state-certified landfills.
