SRW metalfloat GmbH operates modern plants for the processing of residues containing metal in the Rötha district of Espenhain, 20 km south of Leipzig. As part of the Scholz Group, it is one of the world's leading steel and metal recycling companies.

Since our foundation in 2000, we have continuously developed the depth of processing through targeted investments and close cooperation with the TU Freiberg and other scientific institutions. As a result, we are now able to process almost all metal-containing material flows with our various process engineering plant concepts while complying with high environmental standards. With around 190 employees, we are one of the largest employers in the region.
