Our primary mission is to recycle, much like people do with curbside recycling but on a bigger scale with a different reusable commodity. Unlike the paper and plastic most people recycle on a daily basis, we recycle a variety of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The goal is still the same though: to recycle and reuse the material to make new products rather than send them to a landfill.
According to ISRI, recycled metals save the United States more than $2 billion per year in solid waste costs and has extended the lives of landfills in the U.S. by more than 140% (four years) during the last decade.
We are just a small part on a large global supply chain of metal recyclers, but our goal is to make our 10-acre yard as accessible and friendly to the common recycler as possible, while also accommodating bigger industrial accounts.
Spiegel Scrap Metal offers a variety of services both at our yard and around Massachusetts. At our facility in Brockton we have a ten acre open yard with an 80 ft. truck scale making it convenient for vehicles of all sizes. There is also a 17,000 square foot warehouse for our non-ferrous materials that makes the unloading process quick and easy. Both our truck scale and warehouse scales are equipped with software that produces an easy to read ticket with your materials, weights, and price. Our goal is to make each and every customer's experience here an enjoyable one.
