Asset Recovery and Re-marketing
Southeast Electronic Recycling’s Asset Recovery Department can handle all of your surplus or excess materials needs in an economically and environmentally sound way. Our goal is to reuse as much as possible, consistent with our clients’ requirements. Our de-manufacturing procedures vary depending on the type of equipment received. We salvage any parts that are working and resell them, processing other parts of the equipment to commodity grade. All end markets are reviewed and scrutinized to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health and safety requirements.

Certified Data Destruction
Southeast Electronics Recycling (SEER) guarantees your data security against all forms of data compromise. Most drives that arrive at SEER are shredded on site to physically destroy the data and to create commodity grade materials. Some clients ask us to wipe data to enhance the value of the drive. SEER utilizes data sanitizing software that overwrites all data on the drive. We adhere to the practices utilized by the Department of Defense.SEER offers clients the opportunity to have their hard drives destroyed at our facility. Some clients even request to witness the destruction of their hard drives; SEER accommodates these requests. SEER staff are prepared to go on-site to your business, load materials for transport to our facility, and perform the actual wiping or shredding. This chain of custody guarantees the highest levels of data security.

When assessing the resale potential of an IT asset, we consider the age, functionality, appearance and overall condition of the asset. We work closely with our clients to determine the disposal strategy that is most closely aligned to their business objectives. We employ a three-step process to accomplish this. After our evaluation we determine if the product can be used as is. If this is not possible then we assess whether the breakdown of parts has a value. If then we decide that the equipment no longer has useful life it is responsibly recycled. We strive to provide you the greatest return possible.
