Founded in 1977, the Société VIA inc. 's Mission is to create, within a framework of integration and adaptation of jobs for people with a disability.
Its territory extends along the boundaries of Portneuf in Sept-Îles on the North Shore, and Lotbinière in Matane on the South Shore, where it handles more than 90% of all recyclable materials. SORTING
The expertise of VIA Company management recyclables are provided primarily through its collection, sorting and resale of recyclable materials, and sorting center management.

Metals

Metals account for 4% of recovered materials through curbside and can be recycled endlessly. There ferrous and non-ferrous (steel and aluminum). The so separated materials are pressed into small bales and returned to their original industry.

Paper
