Sinkfall Recycling started when the director Brian Armistead, who at the time was demolishing and rebuilding properties, thought how stupid it was to pay for all of the demolition waste to be removed then have to buy it back as another product. So when he came across a suitable site he decided to buy it and develop it into a Waste Transfer Station with 30 skips and 1 vehicle…this is where the story began.
The company has gone from strength to strength and now, over 15 years later, operates from the same site at Sinkfall Farm on the outskirts of Barrow-in-Furness. From our site we are able to tip, sort and recycle all kinds of waste on a daily basis and from this we divert up to 97% of waste away from landfill. With 5 skip wagons and dedicated staff we are able to provide the services which we are renowned for in the local area.
