We are a non-profit organization that has been involved in electronics recycling since 2007 and traditional recycling for over 30 years. We provide a large range of recycling services from commercial and residential electronics recycling to confidential information destruction and also commercial and residential traditional recycling.
In 2012, the Illinois Landfill Ban went into effect. No electronics can be sent to area landfills. We de-manufacture or break down electronic equipment, reducing it to either components or commodities. Recycling these materials prevents toxic materials such as lead, mercury, and alumium from entering the soil and ground water. We maintain the highest standard of data security that assures legal compliance for the various regulations concerning electronics recycling. All hard drives are destroyed and recycled. We are an active member of the Illinois Recycling association and SWANA. Upon request, we are able to provide certificates of destruction for any of the materials we recycle.
Businesses, hospitals, schools, and governement agencies are considered commercial accounts. Commercial businesses that would like to recycle equipment are encouraged to complete the Inventory Form. We will then e-mail you a Quote and Data Report that indicates the charge, if any, to recycle your equipment.
Secure Processors provides de-manufacturing services for CRT monitors, computer central processing uits (CPU's), keyboards, mice, and hard drives. Printers and other plastic materials are shipped to a shredding facility for recycling. In order to protect your personal information, we have purchased a hard drive shredder that is maintained in a locked area of the warehouse and is under video surveillance. Our customers can be assured all personal information on their hard drive is destroyed on site. A Certificate of Destruction is available upon request.
Secure Processors operates a mobile shred truck. Personalized service is provided at your place of business. We have a large capacity shredder at our location to handle large shred and purge services. A certificate of destruction can be provided upon request. We can help you elimate your storage expense by destroying your confidential documents. By having us shred your documents you can avoid the liability of confidential documents becoming public.
