Schaefer Screw Products, formerly located on Schaefer Rd., has been a family owned and operated manufacturing company since 1942, now spanning 3 generations. Since our inception, Schaefer Screw Products has prided itself on being a quality screw machine and CNC fitting supplier specializing in straight and extruded bar stock fittings.

To date, Schaefer Screw Products consists of over 20,000 sq. feet of manufacturing and office space which houses over 50 screw machine, CNC and secondary machines. Our facility is positioned to triple in size with the ownership of 3 acres adjacent to our existing building. A team of 34 full and part time employees consistently make every effort to ensure the finest in quality fittings and customer satisfaction.

Schaefer Screw Products offers a wide range a machining capabilities to accommodate a diverse range of products for the gas valve, refrigeration, plumbing, transportation, beverage and hydraulic industries. Our machining capabilities allow us to perform complex tasks to produce complete parts that are knurled, broached, slotted, crimped, stamped, milled, braoched, cross-drilled and threaded. Machine capacities range from 3/16" to 5" in diameter and 14" in length, and can accommodate a variety of materials and shapes.

Schaefer Screw Products currently houses over 50 production machines located inside our 20,000 square foot plant in Garden City, Michigan. In addition to the 3 acre site currently in use, Schaefer owns an additional 3 acre vacant lot adjacent to our facility for future expansion needs.

Our current size capacities range from 3/16" - 5" diameter stock and up to 14" in length. Tolerances as tight as +/-.0003 are capable and repeatable on our CNC machinery. Schaefer has the capacity to machine a wide variety of materials to satisfy your part requirements.
