Environmental Conscientiousness: Sam Berman & Sons has on file with the Iowa DNR (Department of Natural Resources) a Storm Water Permit & Storm Water Pollution Prevention plan. We utilize large concrete pads to prevent any oils, coolants or other hazardous materials from contacting the ground. We assist our customers to identify materials that may pose a safety risk.
Our state of the art equipment and excellent team enable us to send tons of separated metals to steel mills and foundries via truck or rail. Our family has operated a metal recycling business in Grinnell since 1923. We are proud of our commitment to the community and our longterm customer relationships.
